- Keep from Freezing
- Water meters must be protected from freezing. If your meter is outside or subject to cold then you may need an insulating styrofoam meter cover to protect it.
- Covers are available for purchase from the Village Office during regular business hours.
- Bashaw to Ferintosh Water Supply Line
- The Bashaw to Ferintosh Water Supply Line is now operational.
- The new pipeline provides access to an excellent source of water in the Town of Bashaw. The pipeline is part of the Highway 12/21 Regional Water System, and within a few years it will be bringing water from the Town of Stettler water treatment plant.
- Hotel Renovations
- The Ferintosh Hotel is open during renovations, and the food is great. The new owners are expanding the building to include more living space.
- Water Meter Replacement Project
- Never read your meter again!
- All water meters in Ferintosh have been replaced with new Neptune R900i meters. The new meters automatically transmit water readings, so residents will no longer be required to read their own meters. The new meters are also able to detect leaks and tampering.
- Readings are collected with a handheld remote that interfaces with our existing utility billing software.
