The Hi-U Seniors Centre is one of the busiest places in the village. Come by for a morning coffee and a game of cribbage.
There are pool tables, shuffleboard, monthly suppers and special events. Free blood pressure clinic is held the first Wednesday of each month from 9:00 am to 10:00 am.
The Hi-U is also available for events and meetings.
For bookings call Vera at 780-877-3763.
Playground
Ferintosh has a large, modern playground right on Main Street. There is a shady picnic area, an amenities building and a basketball court.

Ferintosh Recreation Centre
Unfortunately, the Ferintosh Recreation Centre is temporarily closed.
We hope that the community will show their support for this building and offer donations of time, energy and money to help save this landmark structure. There is a lot of work to do.
Volunteer Fire Department
The Ferintosh Volunteer Fire Department protects the Village and a large surrounding area.
If you live in the area and are interested in getting involved in the fire department, contact Fire Chief Rob Fankhanel at 780-877-3904 or Deputy Chief Chris Friesen at 780-608-9010.
Applicants must be physically fit, willing to commit for an extended period, and must pass a criminal record check. Fire practice is held the first Tuesday of every month.
